Bags

Lanyards
Usually, lanyards are made out of plastics and other harmful materials. Not these lanyards, though. These lanyards are made out of corn, organic cotton or bamboo. Bamboo is very eco-friendly, because it grows really fast. Bamboo forests can be easily replaced. Bamboo is also one of the strongest natural materials, but lanyards made of corn or cotton are very durable as well. They're practical in use, fully waterproof and not easily damaged.

Attach it to the lanyard and your done. No harmful plastics involved whatsoever.
After the meeting, the badges can be dropped in a box at the exit. The badges can be either recycled, which means zero waste, or kept in a storage facility, in case you want to use them again.
